WILLIAMSON COUNTY – A woman was recently cited for Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, Violation of Pre-trial Release and Criminal Trespass to Residence after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 14000 block of Greenbriar Road in reference to a Criminal Damage to Property Complaint.
The sheriff’s office says Andrea J. King was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
Just before 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, deputies arrived on scene and spoke to the resident who stated that she saw King inside the home as she returned and took her dog. King used a lawn decoration to break the window in order to get inside.
Deputies saw broken glass and two broken lamps on the floor. The lawn decoration was found broken inside the home. Damage to the window and other personal effects estimated by the resident was just over $3,300.
King is currently the subject of pre-trial release conditions that prohibit her from being at the home. She has previously been trespassed from the property.
Deputies found King with the dog walking east on Herrin Road. King told deputies she broke the window to get the dog.
A sheriff’s office K9 unit took the dog back home to be reunited with its owner.
