White County Sheriff Jordan Weiss says a Jeep Cherokee was found at the scene sitting on its passenger side with the driver, identified as Ian Mosier, standing next to it. He denied medical attention and was found to have alcohol on his breath. He failed a field sobriety test given to him by the officer on scene. It was over the legal limit for someone over 21 years old.

Mosier was taken to the White County Sheriff’s Office for booking. He was cited for DUI of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Mosier was released to a guardian with a notice to appear in court.
