MARION – Now that the solar eclipse has passed, what should you do with your eclipse glasses.

The City of Marion will be collecting your used eclipse glasses at City Hall weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, April 18.

They will then be mailed to Astronomers Without Borders for distribution to South America and beyond. School children will use them to view the total solar eclipse there in October.
